About Me
I’m Dietrich Schmidt, born in 1987 – artist and tech nerd from the Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe region.
I’ve been working in the IT and software industry for nearly 20 years. Yet creative passion has accompanied me throughout my entire life. Only now have I found the opportunity to give it the space it deserves.
I experiment with different styles and motifs. Currently, I enjoy working with watercolor and acrylic, where I primarily explore the freedom of abstract art. I’m consciously in a phase of finding my style, where each work is a new discovery. This openness shapes my approach: I love trying new things and constantly evolving.

I’m open to commissions of all kinds and look forward to dialogue with you. Whether large-format works for corporate spaces, individual pieces for private collectors, or experimental projects – I’m happy to discuss each project personally with you to find the best solution together.
My work combines structured thinking with creative intuition. I work in German and English and value collaboration on equal terms.
